Rose Windross is the original singer/songwriter that launched  

the act known as SOUL II SOUL on the global world map

over 35 years ago.

 

She wrote and recorded the song 'FAIRPLAY', and was nick named 
1st Lady of SIIS.
With her energetic stage presence, Rose Windross has the respect of every vocalist that has ever heard her- bar none!’

The US used the blueprint to create other artists (Mary J Blige).
FAIRPLAY is the soundtrack that launched the new era of soul. It crosses all dance musical boundaries, and for die-hard fans, FAIRPLAY is the given favourite track from the iconic 1st SIIS album -

‘Club Classics Vol 1’ (re-named ‘Keep On Movin’ for the Americas). 

Jazzie B called Rose on several occasions over the years
to re- ignite the magic for the brand name.
Performing as front person, she created new worldwide fan bases,

placing SIIS firmly back2life on the global map.

Singing their catalogue,​

she performed for fans in Australia,

New Zealand, Japan, & Hong Kong, Brazil & all over Europe,

wowing wherever she is heard.
Ms Windross launched the ‘LIVE’ Soul II Soul concept.

Her name now lives forever in UK Hall of Fame (alongside SIIS) for

 ‘changing the perspective of UK music to the world’

Rose continues as a solo performer (Soul/Dance/Jazz/ Live Blues etc).
Her DJ brother Norris ‘da boss’ Windross helps to

keep her busy and musically current.
She performs personalised bespoke sets when requested and adds MAGIC  to many special events via personal appearances (PA) shows.
She is working on new music and several other ‘private’ projects.
 

Her continuous growing fan base also boasts stars –
Eric Sermon / Parrish Smith(EPMD),

Louie Vega (Masters at Work), Mark Ronson (Amy Winehouse), Mousse T, Beverley Knight , DJ John Morales and many more.
